Kids leave the classroom behind and join us in the “kitchen” where we create, grate, and celebrate the season! Each month we source a specific seasonal vegetable or fruit from the local farmers’ market, bring these treasures to class and with the kids, explore the nutritional and cultural history of our featured produce, and make dishes to eat on the spot. Recipes and handouts included.
